 Library Policies and Services

In order to preserve an atmosphere conducive to reading and studying, the following rules are enforced:

  • Work quietly

  • No cell phones

  • No games

  • Computers to be used for school assignments only (no personal emails, shopping, games)

  • Food and drinks are not permitted (but may be parked on the counter by the front door while using the library)

Two full-time staff members are here to help students find materials and assist with class assignments.

Books may be checked out for two weeks and renewed if not reserved by another student. Late fees are not charged, although guardians will be billed for lost or damaged books. Further books may not be borrowed until the overdue books are returned or brought in for renewal.

The library has copies of most class textbooks, for in-library use only.

Supplies available for use in the library include binder paper, markers, glue sticks, pens and pencils, hole punch, scissors, calculators, etc.

Photocopies are 10 cents
Free printing of a reasonable amount of pages for class assignments
Free book covers, Marin Independent Journal, books and magazines

Students may request tutorial passes from the library staff beginning the day before the tutorial. Plan ahead, as available passes go quickly.
